Ingredients 2 cups water 2 cups rice 2 cups beans 3 tablespoons rice vinegar 2 tablespoons soy sauce 2 tablespoons rice flour 2 tablespoons cornstarch 3 teaspoons rice starch 1 tablespoon sesame oil 1 teaspoon soy sauce 3 tablespoons white vinegar 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger, minced 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds 3 teaspoons sesame seed oil 1/4 teaspoon sesame, sesame or soy sauce (optional) Directions Heat the water in a saucepan over medium-high heat.

Add the rice and cook for 5 minutes.

Remove the rice from the heat.

Place the beans in a medium bowl.

Stir in the vinegar and soy sauce.

Add them to the rice mixture.

Let cook for 3 minutes.

Add 1 tablespoon of the soy sauce to the water.

Stir to combine.

Add 2 tablespoons of the rice flour to the mixture.


Add more soy sauce if needed.

Add in the garlic and ginger and stir to combine well.

Let simmer for 10 minutes.

In a small bowl, combine the cornstech, cornstarchs starch, rice starch, sesame oil, soy sauce, and vinegar.

Add to the hot rice mixture and stir well.

Cover and cook at low heat for 20 minutes or until the rice has absorbed all the starch.

Serve the rice, beans, and vegetables.

You might have to buy a rice cooker at the store to make the rice.

You do not have to use rice flour or cornstarchy starch.

This is just a good option for rice.

The water should be added to the cooking water for the rice to absorb the starch from the rice water.

If you use rice starch instead, then you can cook the rice on the stovetop.

You could also just boil it in water and cook it on the rice grinder.

This does not make the recipe more convenient.
