How to make coconut rice: An easy recipe

Coconut Rice Recipe Coconut Rice Ingredients 2 tablespoons coconut oil 1 cup whole-wheat flour 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 tablespoon agave nectar 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/3 cup shredded coconut 2 cups coconut milk (or regular coconut milk) 1 1/5 cups water 1 cup shredded green onions Instructions Combine the coconut oil, brown sugar, agave, cinnamon and salt in a medium saucepan and cook over medium-high heat until the mixture is light golden brown and slightly soggy.

Add the coconut milk and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the shredded coconut, green onions, coconut milk, water, shredded green onion and remaining 1 tablespoon of the coconut extract.
