With long grain rice, you need to get a little bit of everything, and your pantry will soon be full.
But you don’t want to be making the mistake of eating all the rice that comes in the fridge because it may spoil the grain.
Here’s how to prepare long grain rices in your kitchen.
Prep the rice to be eaten 1.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Celsius.
Put the rice in a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap.
Let the rice sit for 10 minutes.
Put it back in the oven for another 10 minutes, but this time remove the plastic wrap from the bowl and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Take the bowl out and remove the rice from the wrap and place it back into the bowl.
Pour in the water and cook the rice for a few minutes on the stove top.
When the water is boiling, put the rice back into a bowl to cool it down.
Serve with rice, beans or beans, or stir fry the rice with a tablespoon of oil.
To prepare rice in the supermarket, put all the ingredients into a blender and add the salt and pepper.
Blend until smooth.
Place the rice into a shallow dish and sprinkle with chopped onion.
Add a tablespoon or two of the chopped onion to the rice.
Add another tablespoon of the salt to taste.
Serve rice with the other ingredients.
