Costa Rica beat Costa Rica 2-0 in their first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League quarter-finals on Sunday, beating the top-seeded team 3-0.
The win moves Costa Rica back to the top of the group stage, with a game against second-seeding Honduras on Tuesday.
Raul Mejia scored twice for Costa Rica in the first half, including a header which gave his side the lead at the break.
A second goal from Juan Agudelo put Costa Rica ahead early in the second half.
However, Costa Rica were unable to get a second goal as the Honduran side equalised through Ricardo Torres, with the winger scoring his first goal in two games.
Costa Rica will face Honduras on Wednesday in the quarter-final stage.
